Job Title: Project Manager

Job Purpose

Plan, Direct, Deploy and execute the project with scope as identified below, while ensuring high speed delivery and efficient use of resources.

In this role, you must ensure that the name and reputation of the organization through which you deliver this project is held in high esteem through diligence, excellence and transparency.

It is required that the project manager has to have spot checks to ensure job is done very well to the customer satisfaction.

 

Scope for Engagement 

The below is the scope that has to be delivered to our client.

The total duration of the project will be for 3 months

Scope 1 — Deinstall and Recommissioning 
TSS
Decommissioning of full site and installing at the same or a different site as per new RF details including all Transmission related activities.
3G site commissioning.
Drive Testing of each site & the cluster at the end of the cluster completion
DUW swap / 2nd / 3rd/ 4th carrier addition within the network.
Site Rehoming to operator network 2G & 3G. (MBC to DBC break up, CDD loading, Integration)
Acceptance Test Procedure sign off each site & Cluster – Acceptance closure at expected KPI levels / issues list as per vendor procedure / checklist.
Physical Optimization of the site.
As build documentation.
Material inventory & warehousing.
Transportation from warehouse to site and Site to Warehouse
Scope 2 —- Collocated sites — Operator site Shutdown 
TSS
Decommissioning full site.
Site expansion at different site as per new RF details with decommissioned material.
DUW swap / 2nd / 3rd/ 4th carrier addition.
3G site commissioning.
Tx sw / Hw upgrades
Site Rehoming to operator network 2G & 3G. (MBC to DBC break up,CDD loading , Integration)
Connect BTS to Tx.
Drive Testing of each site & the cluster at the end of the cluster completion

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver a weekly report to concerned stakeholders on progress of project
  • Coordinate all the field team leads for progress
  • Support proactively for project delivery by being detailed and going to site to verify facts
  • Provide support and Ensure effective process of Partner management of Service Provider and Infrastructure vendors.
  • Establish procedure for Improving rollout and maintenance vendor and subcontractor performance to ensure regular follow-up and objective measurements.
  • Ensure and monitor   timely release of site request (SR) and Service Order  with Tower Company and SP
  • Ensure follow up with implementation and delivery.
  • Review site sharing activities with the telecom vendors and ensure that all the sites are inside the rental brackets and required permitting (environmental, etc) are secured in time to avoid project delays
  • Ensure and coordinate various activities with Supply Chain Management for Warehousing & Dispatching of network element to specific locations.
  • Track and Follow-up on material delivery for the network rollout
  • Establish departmental process to align to PMI process for all projects and enforce strict adherence.

 

Skills and experience

  • Any university degree In Engineering.
  • Professional qualification in Project Management Techniques
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in deployment of GSM and/or 3G/LTE.
  • Experience of Successful Project Delivery
