INSTITUTE OF ICT PROFESSIONALS CALL ON TELECOMS CHAMBER CEO

The leadership of the Institute of ICT Professionals Ghana (IIPGH), Mr. David Gowu (Ag. Executive Director) and Mr. Richard Kafui Amanfu (Director of Technology), on Friday December 8, paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed CEO of the Chamber, Ing Kenneth Ashigbey.

The role of IIPGH in ICT development and bringing professionals together to network and engage in practical activities towards making Ghana a preferred ICT destination was largely discussed.

Being a connector, the delegation reiterated the need of using IIPGH as a platform that will focus on connecting startups, government, institutions/academia, corporations, and investors to achieve the common goal of developing the ICT sector.

The team used the opportunity to congratulate Ing Ashigbey on his appointment and commended him for his immense efforts over the years. Ing Ashigbey was informed of his nomination onto the Executive Council of IIPGH.

Ing Ashigbey on his part accepted the nomination to serve on the Institute’s Executive Council and assured them of the Chamber’s commitment and collaboration with IIPGH in the future in driving ICT development discussions and efforts to create a vibrant ICT ecosystem.
