OUR INSTITUTE

In order to achieve the objectives of the Institute, it shall be organized under four main divisions, local chapters and domain leadership

  • This division shall manage the membership of professionals and corporate members of the Institute.
  • All Domains, societies and chapters of the institute shall reside in the professional membership division
  • All professional certifications shall be carried out by groups in the division
  • This shall be the training and development division of the Institute.
  • It shall form partnerships with organisations in order to deliver training programmes to both members and non-members.
  • This shall be the consultancy division of the Institute.
  • Members who sign up to work under this division must abide of the terms and conditions of IIPGH Professional Services.
  • It shall form partnerships with organizations in order to deliver consultancy services.
  • This shall be the Corporate Social Responsibility division of the Institute.
  • It shall focus mainly on education for four categories of society. They are Early Start for Primary and Junior High School pupils, Secondary School students, Tertiary students and public awareness for the general public.
  • It shall form partnerships with organisations in order to work towards making Ghana an ICT destination.
  • Shall focus on the use of ICT for economic empowerment

The local Chapters shall serve as mobilization vehicle to bring IIPGH activities to members at the grassroots.

1. Local Chapter

A group of IIPGH members shall apply to the Executive Council for the status of a local chapter by fulfilling the following;

  • Identifying at least 20 professionals in good standing at the time of application
  • These professionals shall reside in the locality for the purpose of building the chapter
  • Each local chapter shall have a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer recognized by the institute
  • The local chapter may create other position not exceeding 2 to help them operate efficiently
  • A percentage of the dues NOT less than 40% of the total paid by members of a local chapter shall be remitted back to the chapter for local activities.

2. Students Chapter

A group of IIPGH student members shall apply to the Executive Council for the status of a student chapter by fulfilling the following;

    • Identifying at least 50 student members in good standing at the time of application
    • These student members shall be students of the same institution for the purpose of building the chapter
    • Each student chapter shall have a President, Secretary, Treasurer and Organizer.
    • Each Chapter shall have a patron, preferably a lecturer from the institution.
    • A percentage of the dues NOT less than 40% of the total paid by members of a local chapter shall be remitted back to the chapter for local activities.
  • Each domain shall have a chair and a secretary.
  • The Chair and the Secretary shall be responsible for identifying experts in the various domains for verification and certification of members.
